The clemenvilla is a hybrid between the Fina mandarin and the Tangelo.
Those mandarins are very compact due to its thin skin and plenty of juice they have. Its pulp is particularly aromatic and has a well balanced sugar / acid ratio, for those reasons is considered by many the queen of mandarins. Ideal for juice, good for eating, also used in salads and marinades.
As its skin is thin and durable it not so easy to peel as other varieties, if not collected with leaves it may show small dark spots on the skin but the content inside remains fine. Being a hybrid occasionally can appear some nugget.
Its harvest season is from February to March.
